Steps

1Set Blur type to Focus

Open the Blur type list and choose Focus. The default, Circular, can blur a face and cover it with lights.

2Click your subject

Click the person in the preview to keep them sharp while the blur and lights stay in the background. Or drag the Focus distance slider.

3Pick a shape

Click the box under Bokeh Shape and choose from 25 shapes, such as circles, hearts, stars, and a music note.

4Adjust the lights

Intensity sets how bright the lights are, Amount sets how many appear, and Rotation tilts the shapes. Lower Amount for a less crowded background.
