Quick Guide: How to Use Image to Video in PhotoDirector

Give a still photo a few seconds of movement.

Updated Oct. 25, 2026 · 1 min read

Steps

1Pick a motion, then add your photo

On Template, filter by gender and category, click a movement, and drop your photo into Add photos underneath. Do it in that order, because Generate stays grayed out until a template is chosen.

Or, if nothing in the gallery fits, switch to Image + Text and give it your photo and a description of the movement.

2Set the length, the mode, and the sound

On Template, the template you pick sets the mode, the length, and the sound. On Image + Text, the model decides, and clips run up to 30 seconds.

3Click Generate

Click Generate at the bottom right of the window. You'll be told in PhotoDirector and by e-mail when the clip is ready, so you can close the window.

4Open Image to Video in My Creations

My Creations opens on a wall of tiles, one per feature. Open the Image to Video tile.

5Download the clip

Check your clip and click Download. Clips are kept on the cloud server for a year, so save the ones you want now.
