Steps

1Choose the clip

Click Animated GIF under Video-to-Photo, then pick your clip in the Select Video Clip dialog.

2Capture the frames

Press the snapshot button at each moment worth keeping. Or click AUTO, enter how many frames you want, and click Start. Then click Go to Library and Import to send the frames back to PhotoDirector.

3Set the speed

Frames per second decides how fast the loop cycles, and Total duration shows how long it runs.

4Save the GIF

Click Export to open Save as, set the Image size in pixels, and click Save. PhotoDirector saves the GIF to the Folder shown there and doesn't add it to your library.

A large image size makes a heavy GIF, and the GIF doesn't shrink to fit wherever you post it.
