Steps

1Import your photo

Click Import Photo. Or start from one of the three sample images.

Read the Recommended and Avoid panel on the right before you start brushing.

Replace import screen over the main window, with the Import Photo button, the beach sample image, and the Recommended and Avoid guidance panel highlighted

2Brush the object and describe its replacement

Set Brush Size and paint over the whole object. To describe the replacement in words, select Describe what you want in its place and type what should go there.

Replace workspace with the brush row and Brush Size, the coconut brushed in red, the Describe what you want in its place box with a short description, and the active Generate button highlighted

3Or add a reference image

Or select Upload a reference image and add a photo of the object to guide how it looks. You use one option or the other. Then click Generate.

Upload a reference image selected with a juice bottle photo added, the description box above it grayed out, and the active Generate button highlighted

4Check the result and download

Check the edges and the light, then click Download and Use.

Replace result showing the juice bottle in place of the coconut drink, with the Download and Use button highlighted

We tested these steps in PhotoDirector 365 version 18.0.10 on Windows.
