Three steps to a backdrop, a moved anchor point, and a recolored animated title.

Steps

1Put a backdrop behind the text

On the Properties tab, check Backdrop and choose a shape. Then pick a solid color, a two-color gradient, or an image to fill it.

Nudge Curve Radius up a few units. Rounded corners keep the backdrop from looking like a plain rectangle.

2Move what the title rotates around

Under Position / Size, check Display anchor point and drag the green pin in the preview.

3Recolor an animated title

Drag a title from the Motion Graphics category, double-click it, and use Graphic Group to set a color per shape.

The animation is untouched, so this is the fast way to put a template into your own colors.
