How to Use AI Voice Changer in PowerDirector

Make a recorded voice sound like another person, a robot, a duck, or an astronaut.

Updated Oct. 24, 2026 · 3 min read

PowerDirector's AI Voice Changer turns the voice in your clip into another human voice or a character effect, like a megaphone. You can narrow the human voices by language, gender, and age. Use it to change how someone sounds or voice a character without recording again. You get a new audio clip in place of the original on the timeline.

ORIGINAL · SOUND ON
The clip as recorded.
JENNY · SOUND ON
Changed to Jenny, a human voice.
ASTRONAUT · SOUND ON
Changed to the Astronaut effect.
