Quick Guide: How to Animate Titles in PowerDirector

Three steps to pick a title's animations, set how long each runs, and remove one.

Updated Oct. 25, 2026 · 1 min read

Steps

1Pick the entrance, the exit, and the middle

Choose an animation from the In sub-tab and another from Out. Add a Loop if the title stays up long enough to look frozen.

Matching In and Out looks deliberate, while sliding in and fading out does not.

2Set how long each one takes

Drag the Duration slider at the top of the In or Out sub-tab. Or type a value into the box beside it. Loop has no slider and plays for as long as the title is on screen.

Prefer to work by eye? Click Advanced and drag the animation's range on the timeline instead.

3Remove an animation

Select the None tile at the start of the list.

We tested these steps in PowerDirector 365 versions 23.6 and 25.0.10 on Windows.
